CIMSATAS is an industrial company established in Mersin as a part of Cukurova Group, which is one of Turkey's leading groups.

CIMSATAS manufactures hot forging and steel casting as raw and finished parts, and serves as a supplier for construction machine ,automotive , agriculture and railway industry. CIMSATAS, founded in 1972, is the only integrated plant in Turkey and one of the limited plants all over the world well-known with its hot forging, casting, machining, heat treatment, construction machine production and brake production facilities. Furthermore, CIMSATAS is an significant and  leading company in Turkey with its fund of knowledge and experience gained through various licenses, know-how and technology transfer agreements. It has become a reliable business partner especially in the Western European countries with its export sales. The customers are leading companies in Western Europe such as Liebherr, ZF, Daimler, Evobus, Knorr Bremse, Volvo, Steelwrist, Hydac, Epiroc ,Putzmeister and Valeo.

Since the foundation, the company has manufactured various brands and models of complete track chain, rollers, idlers, sprockets, and ground engaging tools such as tips, adapters, cutting edges for construction machinery. Between the years 1981 and 1994 CIMSATAS also produced track-type and wheel loaders in various models under the license of CATERPILLAR INC.-USA. In 1994, the company has signed a Technology Transfer Agreement with LIEBHERR INDUSTRIEANLAGEN AG - GERMANY and since 1995 it has manufactured LIEBHERR track-type and wheel excavators and wheel loaders in various models. Under the license agreement first with LUCAS HDBS in 1992 and later on with ARVIN MERITOR UK, CIMSATAS has been produced heavy duty brake systems as a supplier for Commercial Vehicle Manufacturers in Turkey.

The foundry has the annual capacity of 13,000 tons with green sand and no bake casting technologies. CIMSATAS stands out with its medium frequency induction melting furnaces, automatic molding machines, resin bonded molding line, core production and the Novacast simulation program in design.

The forgeshop has the annual capacity of 24.000 tons with  2 x 4500 tons, 1x 2500 tons, 1x1600 tons, 1x1000 tons maxi presses and closed die forging technology. CIMSATAS stands out again for its leading-edge technology by the utilization of Deform Simulation in forging die design, Work NC Cam Machining programs and high-speed CNC machines within the production process.

The Parts Production Facilities are equipped with modern CNC machines especially responding to the machining demands of the automotive and construction machines industries.

CIMSATAS takes justified pride of being a cult in heat treament in Turkey with its hardening and tempering,  normalizing, carburizing and isothermal annealing furnaces and various induction hardening equipments.

In 1994 the ISO 9002 and later on ISO 9001 (Quality Assurance System) certificates have been awarded by  BVQI (Bureau Veritas Quality International).
Since 2003, the company has received the ISO/TS 16949 certificate which is one of the significant requirements of the automotive industry. In addition to that the company continued to improve employees standard and  received the  certificate of  OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series. Our ISO 14001  Enviromental Management System Certificate is the proof of the importance and priority given to enviromental aspects.
