Cimsatas (Cukurova insaat Makinalari Sanayi ve Ticaret A.s.) is an industrial company established in Mersin, affiliated with Cukurova Holding which is one of the largest groups in Turkey.

Cimsatas produces hot forged and cast steel parts in both raw and finished (machined) forms, serving as a subcontractor to the construction machinery, automotive, railway, and agricultural machinery sectors. Founded in 1972, Cimsatas has become one of the few integrated plants in Turkey and the world, with its hot forging, steel casting production, construction machinery production, machining, heat treatment, and brake manufacturing facilities. Through various licenses, know-how and technology transfer agreements, Cimsatas has become one of Turkey's leading and significant companies in its field, gaining knowledge and expertise. Through its exports, it has established itself as a reliable business partner, particularly in West European countries. Leading European companies such as Liebherr, ZF, Daimler, Evobus, Knorr Bremse, Volvo, Steelwrist, Hydac, Epiroc, Bonfiglioli, Dana, Putzmeister and Valeo are among its customers.

Since its establishment, Cimsatas has been producing various brands and models of construction machinery components such as tracks, chains, rollers, idlers, sprockets, digging and drilling tools such as teeth, adapters and cutting edges. Between 1981 and 1994, the company manufactured various models of wheel and track loaders under a license agreement with Caterpillar inc. USA. in 1994, a Technology Transfer Agreement was signed with Liebherr industrieanlagen AG - Germany, enabling the production of various Liebherr wheel and track excavators as well as wheel loaders since 1995. Furthermore, Cimsatas began producing heavy-duty brake systems in 1992 under a license agreement with Lucas HDBS, which later continued with Meritor USA to serve manufacturers of heavy commercial vehicles.

The foundry produces steel castings with green sand and resin molding systems, with an annual melting capacity of approximately 13,000 tons. its facilities include medium-frequency induction melting furnaces, automatic molding machines, resin molding lines, core shooting machines, and NovaCast casting simulation software, positioning Cimsatas as a leader in its sector.

The forging facilities are equipped with maxi presses of 2 x 4.500 tons, 1x 3.150tons, 1 x 2.500 tons, 1 x 1.600 tons, and 1 x 1.000 tons, boasting a capacity of 30.000 tons. Closed-die forging technology is used, while advanced technology and tools such as Deform Simulation for forging die design and Work NC CAM Machining programs with high-speed CNC machines further demonstrate Cimsatas's technological edge.

The Machining Facilities are equipped with modern CNC machines to meet the precision manufacturing demands of the automotive and construction machinery industries.

With Annealing and Tempering Furnaces, Normalizing Furnaces, Carburizing Furnaces, isothermal Annealing Furnaces, and various induction hardening machines, Cimsatas is a recognized leader in heat treatment processes in Turkey.

in 1994, Cimsatas obtained iSO 9002 and later iSO 9001 Quality Management System Certificates from Bureau Veritas Quality international (BVQi) and the Turkish Standards institute (TSE). Since 2003, the company has also held the iATF 16949 certification, which is a requirement for the automotive industry. To minimize health and safety risks to its employees, the company was awarded the iSO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification by BVQi. in 2020, Cimsatas achieved iSO/iEC 27001 certification, an international standard for information security management system. The company also holds an iSO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate, demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability.

in 2024, it was awarded the iSO 50001 Energy Management System certificate and the TiSAX AL-3 Trusted information Security Assessment Exchange certificate.
