QUALITY

Quality Department provides inspection and testing services for 3 main production plant  forge-shop , foundry and machining, and additionally for 3 auxiliary processes, such as heat treatment, welding and painting, throughout the factory with a staff of 58 employees.

Management and co-ordination activities to maintain management system certificates that are required for the business relationship with customers belonging to the main industrial branches such as automotive, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, railways and pressure vessels, are carried out by Q Department.  

The inspection and test scope can be carried out in our department are listed below:


  1. Dimensional inspection (3D coordinate measurement - Zeiss Accura, Contura, / 3D measuring arm - Romer / 3D laser scanning - Go Scan Spark, Scan In a Box / contour measuring device - Mahr / profile projection, Mitutoyo / calipers, Height Gauge - Mitutoyo etc.)
  2. Chemical Analysis (Optical Emission Spectrometer – ThermoFisher ARL 3460 , ARL 8820)
  3. Metallographic inspection (microstructure, quenching grain size, degree of purity - Zeiss - Olympus microscope
  4. Macro inspection (weld checks, forge grain flow check)
  5. Sand tests (grain size control, compressive strength test, gas permeability control - Simpson / moisture control in % - Sartorius)
  6. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) (MT – Tiede, TMM, Coil / PNT / UT – 2xStarmans Phased Array),
  7. Hardness measurements (Brinell (Ø 5mm-750 Kg, Ø 10mm-3000 Kg) – Q NESS, Foundrax / Rockwell, Vickers – Q-Ness, Ernst / Portable hardness tester – Ernst),
  8. Mechanical tests (Tensile test, 25,000 kgf - Zwick / Roell - 40,000 kgf - Alsa /Iimpact test, 300 joules - Alsa, Refrigerator - 40°C - Labo),
  9. Coating &- Painting tests (Adhesion, Dry film thickness, color and gloss tests),

Measuring equipment monitoring (internal / external calibration activities) is carried out and thus the requirements of international traceability standards are met, as well.
Management of customer complaints, follow-up of customer inquiries, documentation control, monitoring of measurement activities and documentation and recordings of the results as well as determination of the archiving system are our basic activities.
