Design Center

Our application to establish a “Design Center” was approved by the Ministry of Science, Industry, and Technology on November 17, 2017, granting us the official status.

Within the scope of the Design Center, we undertake order-based designs and serve a wide range of sectors, including automotive, agricultural machinery, railways, and construction machinery.

We collaborate with strong partners such as ZF, Mercedes, Renault, Knorr Bremse, Volvo, and Liebherr to develop our designs. Beyond the designs we create for our partners, we also design systems and equipment to improve our processes and operations. For some of these process-oriented designs, we have ongoing utility model and patent applications. We place great importance on the development and competencies of our employees. To enhance these competencies and foster awareness about intellectual property rights and patents, we have organized and continue to organize internal and external training sessions.

Additionally, we have developed and submitted TÃœBÄ°TAK projects in collaboration with Kocaeli University, Mersin University, and Gaziantep University. A University-Industry Collaboration agreement was signed with Mersin University for new design and R&D projects.

Under the activities of the Design Center, which began in 2017, 16 design projects were completed by the end of 2018, and our R&D expenditures increased by 19%. From 2018 to 2019, 20 Design Center projects were completed, doubling this rate of increase. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, R&D expenditures continued with an additional 30% increase.
